Meet Ramiro Guadamuz Chavarria.

(But let’s call him… Rami 🤣)

Rami is a 102-year-old cowboy from Costa Rica.

That’s not a typo… this guy is legit 102!

People have visited him from all around the world asking his “secrets” to longevity.

(Except Bryan Johnson who refuses to believe anything but pills, injections and suntan lotion will help you live longer… wait until he figures out Rami’s routine 😅)

Cause Rami doesn’t have skincare routine.

He doesn't use an umbrella to protect himself from the sun.

He doesn’t chug a concoction of fake drugs medication from salespeople pharmacists trying to get you on a subscription for life help you.

He lives a kickass life!

Riding horses, lassoing cows, and prancing around his property yelling “areeeeeeeba!”

(Or at least that’s how I picture it in my head haha)

This guy is so iconic that Netflix included him in the Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones documentary.

I watched this documentary with my smokin’ hot wife and we love it!

Specifically, this guy’s routine.

Here’s what he does:

At 5AM…

He wakes up, makes fresh coffee, pets his farm animals outside then kicks back on his patio for a classic costa rican breakfast of rice, eggs and beans.

Then at 6AM, he starts his work for the day.

Wrangling up horses. Fixing fences. Cuttin’ the grass. Milking cows. Pulling hay. Ya know, stuff with his hands that ChatGPT has to hire humans to do.

He does that until 10AM sharp every morning.

Then he comes back to his house, cooks up some tacos on corn tortillas and chills for the rest of the day.

Even has a glass of Whiskey for lunch...

(What do you think about that Bryan Johnson???)

When asked directly what he "secret" to longevity is — he says the same thing everytime:

“I love the horse. I work. I drink. I play. I love my friends.”

SIMPLE.

Yet here we are with our WHOOP bands, oura rings, protein shakes, creatine powder, GLP-1 injections, sun screen, face oils, home gyms, and all the other crap that’s been marketed to us.

This guy has cracked the freaking code.

He loves what he does.

He works four hours a day (with his hands).

And he leaves plenty of time to enjoy life, drink some whiskey and spend time with his friends.

Legend!

I remember the first time I saw this documentary I thought, “That’s what I want. A four hour work day.”

So I too can do something I love but also have plenty of time to be a Professional Life Enjoyer.

To read novels, play golf, play with my kids, tan at the pool, watch boxing, have friends over for dinner.
