Here’s a story you may not have heard… Years ago, I scrubbed cars for a living. When I graduated high school at 18 years old — you know what I did on graduation night? I didn’t…
I WENT TO SLEEP!Haha. I got home from graduation, ate some pizza with my brothers, and took a freakin’ nap cause I had to be up dark and early at 5AM to start my new job at the carwash. Cause guess who was paying for me to go to college? ME!Not me mom. Not me dad. Not the government. My parents are Romanian immigrants… they barely had enough money for them, let alone me! Which means I needed some cash. So I started detailing cars at $4.50/hr + tips so I can afford to take college classes. I worked twelve hour days… four days a week… (that’s 48 hours by the way) The other three days a week, I did my college classes. Then after a year of this… I GOT ENGAGED AT 19!I knew my girlfriend (now wife) is a diamond so I needed to put a ring on it before I started gettin’ them regrets cause… Now... I’m engaged… paying for college… AND paying for a wedding? (Cause again… broke parents) I worked my gluteus assimus off washing so many cars they promoted me. They put my smiley go lucky happy attitude up front selling details. Which (shocker) — I dominated! So then they promoted me to run a bunch of the carwash locations as manager. Which meant I started to easily clock in 60-80 work weeks (not an exaggeration). I was working twelve hour days six days a week. Sometimes seven. Trying to pay bills, take care of my brand new family, be a good husband, a good employee and everything else that comes with life. Those 70 hour work weeks taught me one important lesson. I DON’T WANT TO WORK 70 HOUR WORK WEEKS EVER AGAIN 🤣Fast forward 15 years… I’m 33. I work for myself with 0 employees. A full time soloprenuer and creator. And I’ve built systems to help me grow my copywriting and creator business while having a full-time gig and now use those systems to work a four hour workday while affording to take care of my wife, three kids, play golf, have paid off cars and all the other stuff that comes with being a grown adult in 2026. (Including the nasty inflation And if you want a sneak peak into how a normal guy (Yours Truly) transformed his life from scrubbing cars to a 4-hour workday… I’m teaching a masterclass on it inside of my friend Gasper’s Rebelprenuers community this Thursday. 72 hours until I go live. And you can ask me anything afterwords. Click this link to check it out =) See you there? Your friend, Alin “Hasn’t Scrubbed a Dayum Car In Years LOL” Dragu P.S. If this story resonated with you, reply and let me know. Love meeting new friends on my list.
