A couple days ago, I wrote a twitter thread that popped off like a rocket!

Here is the hook I wrote...

A client paid my agency $5,500 to build email flows.

6 days later, we fired her & refunded most of the money.

As I write this, it’s sitting at 699 likes. 654 bookmarks. 80+ comments and 180K+ impressions.

Not to mention, it got me 4 awesome leads for my email agency.

The thing is - I knew that thread would pop up before hit “post.”

For a few reasons:

1 - Story hooks work like crazy!

2 - CONTRARIAN story hooks work even better! Haha

I mean who gets paid $5,500 for emails then REFUNDS the money!?

I must be crazy, right?

The other funny thing is I didn’t even hard sell my agency by any means in this thread.

I literally told the story then plugged a link to our website at the bottom.

So this is your friendly reminder…

Drop the crazy value content. Go do something to build your business (like getting and firing crazy clients haha). Then tell people about it on social media & email. Plug your business link at the bottom.

Do this once a day and chances are you’ll have a more profitable copy business in 30 days.
