Gosh it has been a HOT minute since we did an #AskAlinAnything. And the questions have been pouring in! So how about today we do a… ⚡ Q&A LIGHTNING ROUND! ⚡Starting with this one… What are your three favorite sales letters ever? Is hand-copying worth it? — CopySlacker by Ben Settle — Double, Triple, Quadruple by Frank Kern — Campaign Conquerer by Daniel Throssell — Orrrrr (Bonus?) Water Bottle by Gary Halbert As for the hand-copying… … I’ve found that to be an utter complete waste of time. 🤣 I hand-copied bullets every single day for almost two months and I feel like it did literally nothing for me. The best thing you can do to get good at copy is write freaking copy. Here’s a video where I talk about the “Infinity Loop” exercise that I’ve done everyday for almost two years now. It’s how I got so dayum good at copy fast. Next question. It feels like since you launched your copycreator club that you’ve really slowed down on launching products… was that intentional? Or do you feel like info-products is not the way anymore? Of course it was intentional, hahah. Not because I didn't want to launch products but because — as my friend Chris Orzy would say — it’s hard to ride two horses with one arse. I wanted to give myself an entire year mastering what it’s like to manage and grow CopyCreator Club before trying to create more products. Especially since the standards of product creation I have is infinitely higher than 99% of creators. The one product I did launch this year was Client Keeper in collaboration with Daniel Throssell and that took me 6 freaking months to make. But when Daniel saw it, he instantly said, “I would sell this as one of my $1,000 courses…” That’s the level of effort I put into even my $27 products (like Client Casanova, which will be jumping up to $55 in the coming weeks) I put that same energy into growing and serving my club members. Which is how I put on the best masterclasses every single month (Ben Settle, Parker Worth, Brian Kurtz, Andrew Gould, Daniel Throssell were all masterclass guests…) …and I wrote a 25 page monthly newsletter. …and I dropped exclusive resources 1-2 times per week. …and I hosted a weekly call where I personally roasted live members. But I can say that in 2026, I have really found my groove with CopyCreator Club and will absolutely be launching more products in 2027. In fact — 2027 may be my biggest year of product launches ever! I’ve already got 2-3 in the works right now… Which should answer your second question: NO. I don’t think info-products are dead. I think "eneric piece of crap regurgitated google docs" people try to sell for $97 are dead. But Experience-Driven info-Products are alive and well my friend. Meaning if I create another product on lets say… “writing daily emails”. No one cares about a product on how to write daily emails. But they would care about a product breaking down how I WRITE MY DAILY EMAILS. They’re paying for the insights on my personal experience. Show, don’t tell. Unfortunately, most marketers are frauds and AI exposed them for it. But it’s done well for me cause I work everyday on this stuff so I’ve built a ton of experience that I can package and sell. Ahhhh! THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A LIGHTNING ROUND AND THERE I GO DOMINATING WITH WISDOM 🤣 Next one. People have some expectations when they write a book, were yours met? 100% yes! Because my expectations were basically… enjoy writing this book! 😅 I didn’t really care if the book sold or got reviews or anything… … I just wanted to check it off my list that I wrote and published a book. Which I did. Ironically though, it ended up becoming a #1 best selling book on Amazon (in the marketing category just 2 weeks after Seth Godin released one of his books!) And it has flush 5-stars reviews only. But again — I didn’t care about that stuff. My goal was to simply go to a coffee shop, drink espresso and write a book. I took that methodology writing my second book — CopyCreator — which comes out later this year. I likely won’t write a third book in 2027 (since that year will be focused on launching more products — do you see a method to my madness? Dedicate ONE WHOLE YEAR to something). But 2028, I will certainly keep writing books. For no reason other than books are the greatest legacy I can leave. My kids will have them. My friends will read them. My customers will love them. And I will be remembered by my books, not my courses. ALRIGHT THAT WRAPS US UP! 😎Did you enjoy having #AskAlinAnything back!? If so, reply to this email with your question for a chance to get it personally answered by me. Until tomorrow… Your friend, Alin “Email Goat” Dragu
